Provision of services (Early Intervention, Day Care Center, Home-based Care and Autism) by First Step was terminated on March 2, 2020, based on the Resolution -№434 and Regulation № 501 enacted by the Government of Georgia regarding a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) spread throughout the country. In March, 2020, program coordinators developed modified programs for Early Intervention, Day Care Center, Home-based Care and Autism programs that envisage promotion of individual activities and support to children through methods of distance learning. Since April, 13, the organization “First Step” has been providing services to children and support to their families within the framework of the programs using the methods of distance learning that will be continued according to the state of emergency period.
