President of Georgia Mr. Giorgi Margvelashvili awarded Mrs. Nino Kadagidze-Zhvania a Medal of Honor for the establishment of notable and worthy child caring organization!
1998 – In order to save the lives of beneficiaries of “Kaspi” residential Institution for children with severe and profound disabilities, Mrs. Jane Anne Corboy and Ms. Nino Kadagidze-Zhvania established “First Step” and this is how 24 children survived. This was the beginning of “First Step”.
During 20 years First Step has provided various services to hundreds and hundreds of children and trained many specialists who nowadays are high-qualified specialists.
The foundation of First Step was built on kindness and this kindness is the reason why and how organization has been functioning for such a long period.
